Development of a program for high school students from 13 to 17 years to be aware of the European Convention on human rights and their protection by means of drama and theater techniques. The emotional involvement in the analyzed case that art techniques provoke, creates empathy with people whose rights have been violated; motivate youth to real participation in the solving of the problem, they will betrained actively to participate in social life.

A  training of 50 teachers from Sofia will help them to implement those techniques, to test the program among 1200 students and issuingof 200 packages with methodical guidance and visual material, allowing multiplication of the project activities. The teachers will enrich with new art techniques their pedagogical „tools“; participants will be able to assist in the management of stress/ conflicts or dispute arising among the students; during discussions of the cases of the others  will get to know them better and will have the chance to become friends of them. Combating racism, xenophobia, hate speech and intolerance in society are a natural consequence. Results will be presented at the National Conference.

On 02.04.2015 the team of Tsvete Theatre organized a demonstration session to present drama and theater techniques, suitable for conducting trainings on human rights. This was the first public event of the project „In Defense of Our Rights,“ which is being implemented under a funding program for supportof NGOs in Bulgaria under the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area.

In the session took part 50 pedagogues from different schools, NGOs, community centers, „St. Kliment Ohridski “ University who came to get aware of the nature of our work.


From 31.08 to 06.09.2015 team of Theatre „Tsvete“ conducted training of teachers to conduct training on children’s rights in school through drama and theater techniques in hotel „Callisto“,  town of Sozopol.
In the training participated 48 teachers from 20 schools in Sofia, two – from Sozopol and representatives of two NGOs from the National Network for Children

With the start of the school year training of 50 educators transferred „in the field“.  This time they will have active role.  To be able to report the results of the art techniques through lessons on the Rights of the Child in October our team crawls twenty schools where the project is carried out, it presents to the students of the included classes and conducts entrance poll.
The tape is cut. 🙂 In November educators prepared and conducted drama lessons on the theme: „Understanding the Convention on the Rights of the Child and understanding of the respective responsibilities.“ 
In every school actors from the theater „Tsvete“ visit and analyze one of them, but for three participants.т театър.

In December started out the second lesson.  The aim of the lesson is to enhance awareness among young people to different types of violence and give them the opportunity to try out in a safe environment appropriate, according to them, such behavior in problematic situations.
This time the actors will attend a lesson of another participant from the same school, with the exception of cases where teachers have less than three.  The workload of the latter is greater, since all the students involved in the project is scheduled to relive 3 drama lessons.  The second lesson is included forum theater performance of the Theatre „Tsvete“ on the same topic.  It aims to present to the student teachers model jokering in real terms.
