The interactive puppet theater show “Flying Knight” is performed in 15 elementary schools in Sofia neighborhoods with prevailing roma population

Officials of  the National Police give the children in the audience specifically designed flyers which describes basic safety rules from violence.

The idea of the campaign is a theatrical spectacle to provoke pupils, and through them, their parents, to the understanding of personal responsibility and the problem of violence in schools. The aim of the organizers is to assist in the development of behavioral skills in children in the age group of 7 to 10 years – how to recognize violence in its various forms and each other to defend, how to behave in society, how to react in certain situations, how to resolve conflicts on the street. The project experimented with forms of communication and presents content through active participation of its audience – children. It breaks through the traditional form of “educational theater” and created a new interactive form to work with children, which relies on dialogue, direct communication with them by presenting easily accessible and memorable information.
