The puppet forum theatrical performance “The flying knight” presents the story of a boy with a wild imagination. His classmates do not accept him because of his differences. And adults are mired in their own problems.

What happens on stage is familiar to students. Violence at school is so common, that students get used to it, they begin not to notice it. Victims alone cannot get used to it. The children in the hall empathize with the troubles of Little Martin. Empathy motivates them to go on stage and look for a way to help him.

“The flying knight” teaches children to recognize violence and to protect each other. If they are silent and patient, the abuser believes, that he is invincible and repeats, and triples and in response provokes violence. With this show we want to provoke children, parents and teachers to understand the personal responsibility of each to this huge problem - school violence.
