Participation in The Summer Program'24 of the Metropolitan Municipality at the stilt show "THE BRAVE DRAGON" on Theatre Tsvete
Each of us is unique. We are all different. Is this an obstacle to being friends?? Isn't it wonderful, that one is good at one, and friend – in another?
Come and see "THE BRAVE DRAGON" - the tale of three-meter dolls, with which the flower theater participates in the summer program of the cultural calendar
events of the Metropolitan Municipality!
After the stilt show, The presenter invites children from the audience to step into the roles of the characters they already know and solve case studies on a theme
"friendship and tolerance". Theatrical play attracts them and the achieved successes or failures in solving the set problems, imperceptibly them
learn to respect the peculiarities of others.
The huge spectacular dolls, telling the story of their friendship in the Sofia parks, will undoubtedly bring variety to the Capital's cultural life. Presented in an atypical theater space, the event will also attract an audience, did not plan in advance her participation in the cultural performance. The opportunity for small viewers to join in an organized theatrical game, will provoke the interest of children and parents to
the summer cultural events offered by the Metropolitan Municipality. The idea of the performance is to provoke interest and acceptance of difference in others, it
makes especially relevant now, in a situation of foreign-speaking mothers with children, in need of integration. This informal lesson in tolerance will
brighten up the summer of children and their parents – residents and guests of Sofia.
Outdoor performances in various metropolitan parks will make them accessible to all, will stimulate communication between different social
groups.
Culture and the arts promote active civic participation in the defense of common values, inclusion and intercultural dialogue, connect
people and create a sense of identity.
The results of the already 30-year activity of the Tsvete Theater practically prove it, that art can provoke a change in habits, emphasize i
the understanding of oneself and the surrounding world.
The performance was created within the project "Socially Inclusive
Europe" of the British children's rights organization "Save the Children"
