By invitation of the theater "Tsvete" the famous American expert Dr. Joel Snyder, President of Audio Description Associations LLC, conducts training on audio description of art events for the blind. Joel Snyder is internationally known as one of the world's first "audio describers", a pioneer in the field of audio description. From 1981 Mr. he introduced audio description techniques to over 40 the state and 64 countries and has created thousands of live events, media projects. Most recently, Dr. Snyder was named a Fellow of the "Fulbright". He is the recipient of an award from the American Council of the Blind (Audio description). The project's highest award, The Memorial Career of Barry Levin: "The rare chance to experience the same cultural event at the same time – a theatrical performance, exhibition, film - will enable blind people to communicate, to discuss and share impressions, to feel connected and motivated for new social contacts. The mixing of spectators with and without specific needs will create opportunities for meetings and acquaintances of the usual theater audience with representatives of a deeply isolated social group - the blind in Bulgaria." - share the organizers. Joel Snyder's book The Visual Made Verbal: A Comprehensive Training Manual и "A guide to the history and applications of audio description" is published by the American Council of the Blind and is now available as an audiobook and in Braille from the Library of Congress Division on the Blind and Physically Handicapped.
